The 6-foot-3 senior outside hitter led the Dons to a 42-0 record and the Open Division state championship this past season. Blyashov was the focal point of an unbeatable Cathedral Catholic attack that lost just one of 124 sets throughout the entire season. The 2022 MaxPreps.com National Player of the Year, she was a member of the Under-19 Women’s National Team that won the gold medal at the Pan Am Cup in Tulsa, Okla., in August.
Blyashov has maintained a weighted 4.55 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball on scholarship at Stanford University this fall.
Blyashov raised more than $7,000 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, her mother’s country of origin. She has also volunteered locally as a youth math and English tutor in addition to donating her time at a food bank and homeless shelter.
