The 5-foot-6 senior swept the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dash at the Class AAA state championship meet this past season, helping the Crimson Leaf to fourth place as a team. Borsch set a state record in the 400 earlier in the season with a time of 53.47, which ranked No. 15 nationally among girls prep competitors at the time of her selection. She went unbeaten in 35 individual races across her three sprint events throughout the season.
Borsch has maintained a 4.01 weighted GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete on scholarship at the University of Notre Dame this fall.
Borsch has volunteered locally as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph the Worker Church in addition to serving as a summer counselor at its Vacation Bible School. She has also donated her time as a card maker for Letters for Rose, an international organization dedicated to reducing loneliness among elders by distributing letters, artwork and donations.
