“Her willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed has separated her from her peers. Jordan Jacob is very worthy of being named Gatorade State Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year. Jordan has been one of North Dakota's top runners since her 8th grade year and this past season she won her first individual state championship. Jordan's success in cross country is largely due to her passion for racing. Her willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed has separated her from her peers. Jordan is a very coachable student athlete and her self-motivation and work ethic are second to none. Jordan has also achieved a high standard of academic achievement at Century High School. Her commitment to education is evident through her high class rank and GPA(4.0). Jordan is of high moral character and beliefs, which is projected through her interactions with her peers. She is a role model who leads by example. Because Jordan has a strong sensitivity to the needs of others, she is well liked and respected by her peers and teammates. Jordan Jacob is an outstanding athlete, a top notch student and an all-around remarkable young woman!”
