The 6-foot-8, 205-pound junior forward led the Timberwolves (19-8) to the Class 6A state title this past season, averaging 17.7 points, seven rebounds and 3 assists per game. Carlson averaged 19.3 points on 51.3 percent shooting to capture tournament MVP honors. Also the 2026 Inland Empire Player of the Year, he was a Second Team All-State selection as a sophomore.
Carlson has maintained a weighted 3.99 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
Carlson has volunteered locally with the faith-based youth group Young Life. He has also donated his time to coaching youth basketball camps and participated in season-long efforts by his team to raise funds to fight Noonan Disease, recognize the contributions of community first responders and support Teacher Appreciation Night.
