The 5-foot-8, 175-pound senior center fielder tied a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association Conference A single-season record with 16 home runs this past season, leading the Patriots (20-16) to the loser’s bracket final of the MIAA A Conference Tournament. Coudon compiled a .487 batting average with 53 runs scored, 42 RBI and 14 stolen bases while posting a .572 on-base percentage and a 1.017 slugging percentage. He also didn’t commit an error in the field and concluded his prep baseball career with an MIAA A Conference career-record 33 home runs.
Coudon has maintained a weighted 4.07 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play baseball on scholarship this fall at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Coudon has volunteered locally with the Doc Perry Foundation, which helps veterans and their families in the fight against suicide. He’s also donated his time helping the homeless and as a youth baseball coach.
