Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-10 senior middle hitter led the Hornets (17-0) to an undefeated season and second consecutive Division I state championship this past season. Ray recorded 120 kills, 36 aces, 25 digs and nine blocks, posting a .373 hitting percentage. She was a First Team All-State selection and was also named a Senior Tri-State All-State, encompassing Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Academic Achievement

Ray has maintained a 3.54 GPA in the classroom. She will attend Castleton University this fall, where she will play volleyball.

Exemplary Character

Ray has volunteered locally on behalf of multiple philanthropic organizations, including the American Red Cross and as a year-round contributor to The Classic Mike Loyer Foundation, which raises money for families in Vermont dealing with accidental worksite deaths.
