The 6-foot, 180-pound senior guard led the Red Raiders to a 26-3 record and the Division 1 state championship this past season. Villa averaged 17.1 points, 6.2 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser Player of the Year and the Oahu Interscholastic Association East Player of the Year, he was also a First Team All-State selection in West Virginia as a junior.
Villa has maintained a 3.75 GPA in the classroom. He remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
A devoted member of his church community, Villa has volunteered locally on behalf of the Special Olympics, food donation drives, community clean-up initiatives and youth basketball programs. "Villa could score from anywhere on offense, he was a tenacious and relentless defender, and he was the floor general in getting his teammates involved," said Neil Bowers, head coach at Castle High. "Kahuku was a different team when he didn't play."
