The 6-foot-5, 190-pound senior guard led the Riverhawks to a 21-4 record and the Class 3A state championship this past season. Brenchley averaged 19.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.8 steals per game. A member of the All-State Tournament team, he earned Second Team All-State honors as a sophomore and a junior from both the Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News.
Brenchley has maintained a 3.99 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Utah this fall.
A devoted member of his church community and an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, Brenchley has collected books for underprivileged children in China and has volunteered locally on behalf of youth sports programs and an elementary school reading initiative. "Brenchley really commands and controls the game on both ends of the floor," said Drew Trost, head coach at Juan Diego Catholic High. "He's devastating in transition and off the dribble, and he's also an excellent passer and rebounder."
