The 6-foot junior set a meet record in the shot put at the Class AA state championships this past season, leading the Rough Riders to a third-place finish as a team. Greer’s winning throw of 47 feet was less than an inch shy of her personal-best toss of 47-0.75, which ranked No. 23 in the nation among prep competitors at the time of her selection.
Greer has maintained a weighted 3.94 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
The 2019 High School National Powerlifting champion in the heavyweight division, Greer has volunteered locally at a homeless shelter and food bank.
