The 6-foot-5, 175-pound junior captured three individual state titles at the Class 3A state meet and led the Blue Devils to a state championship as a team. Brooks won the high jump (6 feet, 10 inches), the long jump (22-10.25) and the triple jump (47-9.25
Brooks has maintained a B average in the classroom.
He has volunteered locally organizing and officiating middle school track meets in addition to serving as a youth track and soccer coach.
