The 6-foot-4, 240-pound junior throwing talent set a state record in the discus at the GlenOak Second Sole Eagle Elite meet this past season, and his mark of 209 feet, 1 inch ranked No. 5 nationally among prep boys competitors this spring. Conrad also won the discus at the Division 1 state meet with a throw of 194-0, leading the Wildcats to an 11th-place finish as a team. He took third in the discus at the Arcadia Invitational in California as well.
Conrad has maintained a 3.88 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
A starting linebacker on the St. Ignatius football team, Conrad has volunteered locally as a Faith Leader at his school, mentoring fellow students on spiritual retreats throughout the year. He has also donated his time as a math tutor.
