Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot senior wing averaged 16.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.6 assists per game this past season, leading the Mustangs (31-4) to the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Tournament championship game. A McDonald’s All-American Game selection, Brown-Turner is a three-time WCAC First Team All-League honoree. She concluded her prep basketball career with a school-record 1,886 points.

Academic Achievement

Brown-Turner has maintained a 3.33 GPA in the classroom and represents one of the state’s top academic candidates in meeting the Gatorade award’s broad criteria. She has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at North Carolina State University beginning this fall.

Exemplary Character

Brown-Turner has volunteered locally at a care center for seniors with special needs, and has also donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through Bishop McNamara’s Holy Cross Service Program.
