The 6-foot-3, 200-pound senior right-handed pitcher led the Cavaliers to a 27-6 record and the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference championship this past season. Yeager compiled a 5-3 record on the mound with a 1.25 ERA, recording 84 strikeouts in 56 innings of work. Ranked No. 1 in the state in the Class of 2024 by both Perfect Game and PrepBaseballReport and a consensus Top 100 prospect nationally, he also held opposing hitters to a .138 average and compiled a WHIP of 0.89. He is a two-time Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches Preseason First Team All-State selection and was a 2023 Perfect Game All-American Game invitee.
Yeager has maintained a 3.71 weighted GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at the University of Maryland this fall.
Yeager has volunteered locally on behalf of GiGi’s Playhouse, which provides programming and support for people with Down syndrome, and as a youth baseball coach.
