Athletic Excellence

The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot, 180 pound junior sprinter earned dual All-American status at New Balance Nationals Outdoor this past season, placing third in both the 100- and 200-meter dash events. Odey-Jordan’s 100 time of 10.31 seconds in the semifinal round ranked No. 17 nationally among prep boys competitors this spring. He also ran the third leg on Archbishop Carroll’s 4x200-meter relay squad that set an NBNO meet record with a time of 1:23.64. He swept the 100 and 200 at the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Championships, and his season-best mark in the 200 of 20.60 seconds at the East Coast International ranked No. 8 nationally.
