The 6-foot-3, 240-pound senior guard/forward led the Bulldogs to a 22-5 record and the quarterfinals of the 6A state tournament. Seat averaged 19.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, shooting 62 percent from conventional field goal range, 47 percent from beyond the arc and 71 percent at the free throw line, for a true shooting percentage of 65.4. Ranked No. 6 in Oklahoma’s Class of 2022 by PrepHoops, Seat was named the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference MVP as well as the conference’s Offensive POY. He played all four years at Edmond Memorial and concluded his career with 1,330 career points.
Seat has maintained a 3.01 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at the Abilene Christian University this fall.
Seat, who was homeless for two years before being adopted by the Seat family, has volunteered locally as the lead counselor for 43 boys at Positive Tomorrows, an Oklahoma City organization that assists homeless families with their education to create a path forward in success. He has donated his time to multiple philanthropic efforts at Edmond Memorial, helping raise more than $1 million during his four years at the school. An instructor/coach at youth basketball camps in Edmond throughout his high school career, he has also packed care boxes to support Blue Star Mothers of Edmond.
