The 5-foot-7 senior point guard averaged 19.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 2.5 steals this past season, leading the Tigers (15-7) to the Class 6A sub-state championship game. A two-time Eastern Kansas League MVP, Wooten was the Class 6A state player of the year as a sophomore as well as the state tournament MVP. She concluded her prep basketball career with a school-record 1,680 points.
Wooten has maintained a weighted 3.25 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at Oklahoma State University this fall.
A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Wooten has volunteered locally as part of community food and clothing drives. She has also donated her time as a middle school student mentor and as a youth basketball coach.
