The 5-foot-4 junior won Class 5A state titles in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter events this past season and ran for the Bulldogs’ second-place 4x400-meter relay quartet. Codd set state records by clocking a wind-legal 11.61 seconds in the 100 and a 23.62 in the 200. She also broke the tape with the fastest all-conditions 100 performance in Nevada prep history clocking a wind-aided 11.46. She ranked in the top 45 nationally in the 100, 200 and 400 among girls prep competitors in 2023.
Codd has maintained a 3.34 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school this fall.
Codd has volunteered locally helping her grandparents with feeding the unhoused in addition to mentoring youth track athletes in her community. She is also an accomplished hair stylist.
