“He is exceptionally unselfish and plays with no ego to get in his way, yet he overflows with confidence and commitment."What makes Isaiah the best and most unique player I have coached in 34 years of coaching is the fact that not only is he a very gifted player and has the ability to defend, create and score, more importantly, his number one priority is to make his teammates better. In the last 3 years we have won two State Championships and State Runnerup once with not necessarily the most talent in the tournament. However, Isaiah involved his teammates, created opportunities for them, and quite literally coached them up on the floor. In the moments we needed a score, he provided it and when we needed a defensive stop or rebound, he was there. Isaiah, along with his very determined and unselfish teammates, rose to the top again and again. As instinctual and good as he is as a player, I have always maintained that he is an even better person. He is exceptionally unselfish and plays with no ego to get in his way, yet he overflows with confidence and commitment. He is kind, sensitive, compassionate to others, extremely humble and above all else, Isaiah is gracious and so thankful for what he has and for all of those who have helped him along the way.”
