The 5-foot-10, 165-pound senior point guard led the Falcons (27-2) to the Class 3A state title, averaging 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game this past season. Wilks chipped in 3.6 steals per game, shooting better than 40 percent from beyond the arc and hitting more than 85 percent of his free throws in supporting the program’s 19th state championship run. He averaged 20 points in three state tournament games and was named Class 3A Tournament MVP. Ranked as the nation’s No. 211 prospect in his class by 247Sports, he was also the 2026 GMAC Player of the Year.
Wilks has maintained a weighted 3.90 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play basketball at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette this fall.
Wilks has volunteered locally as part of youth outreach programs, charity fundraisers and initiatives that support families and children in need. A devoted parishioner of his church community, he has also donated his time via faith-based service and mentorship opportunities in addition to coaching and instructing at youth basketball camps.
