Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-8, 205-pound senior forward had led the Maroon Giants to a 20-3 record and a berth in the Class A regional final at the time of his selection. Livers averaged 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while shooting 59 percent from inside the arc through 23 games. A First Team All-State honoree and a Michigan Mr. Basketball finalist, he scored 24 points to go with seven rebounds and five assists in a 69-50 win over Holt in the regional semifinals.

Academic Achievement

Livers has maintained a 3.45 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Michigan this fall.

He has volunteered locally to help deliver clean water to residents in Flint, Mich. and has participated in a service mission in association with his church.
