The 5-foot-8 senior striker led the Lady Wolves (10-7-3) to the Class 4A tournament quarterfinals this past season, scoring 54 goals and passing for 10 assists. Vasco averaged 3.2 points per game, including scoring 11 goals and passing for 3 assists during the postseason. A three-time First Team All-State honoree, she is also a five-time Region IV Olympic Development Program selection. Vasco concluded her prep career as the leading career scorer in state history with 224 goals, obliterating the previous mark of 106. She is also a two-time 4A West Region Player of the Year in basketball and graduated as that program’s leader in career points and steals.
Vasco has maintained a weighted 4.15 weighted GPA in the classroom. She has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Wyoming this fall.
A devoted member of 4-H, Vasco raises steers as part of that involvement. She has participated in multiple community service initiatives in association with the National Honor Society and she has also donated her time as a youth soccer coach.
