The 6-foot, 195-pound senior quarterback passed for 4,595 yards and 49 touchdowns this past season, completing 66.5 percent of his throws and leading the Chargers to the Class 6A state title. Wilson averaged 12.0 yards per passing attempt and added 1,304 yards rushing, averaging 8.7 yards per carry along with 13 scores. Rated the No. 1 recruit in Utah in the Class of 2024 by 247Sports, On3 ELITE and Prep RedZone, he finished his season as the 2023 national leader in total yards, according to MaxPreps.com. He accounted for nearly 6,000 yards of offense and 62 touchdowns last fall.
Wilson has maintained a 3.43 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football on scholarship at the University of Utah this fall.
Wilson has donated his time locally on behalf of the Utah Food Bank and helped lead a school-wide fundraiser to support the needy. He has also volunteered by organizing weekly summer camps for youth players as well as similar, three-day camps throughout his scholastic career.
