At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound junior right-handed pitcher and first baseman had led the Rams to an 12-1 record entering the state’s Class A postseason this past season. Finck compiled a 4-0 record on the mound over 23.2 innings with a 0.30 ERA and 37 strikeouts through 13 games. He also batted .558 with 17 RBI, 19 runs scored, a home run for an OPS of 1.486. A two-time Southwestern Maine Activities Association (SMAA) First Team All-Conference selection, he’s ranked as the nation’s No. 339 overall prospect in his class by Perfect Game and the No. 1 player in Maine.
Finck has maintained a 3.4 GPA in the classroom. He has verbally committed to play baseball on scholarship at the University of Alabama in the fall of 2027.
Finck has volunteered locally as an umpire with the Gorham Youth Baseball and Softball association in addition to donating his time as a baseball instructor.
