The 6-foot-1, 190-pound senior right-handed pitcher and designated hitter posted a 7-0 record on the mound with a 0.67 ERA and 90 strikeouts against just 10 walks in 41.2 innings pitched, leading the Wreckers to a 16-4 record entering Connecticut’s Class LL state tournament. Wyatt had not allowed a run in his previous 31.1 innings pitched entering the postseason. The state’s No. 1 rated prospect in the Class of 2023 according to Perfect Game, he also hit .359 with three homers, 15 RBI, 18 runs and a 1.025 OPS through 20 games.
Wyatt has maintained a 3.63 weighted GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball on scholarship at the University of Southern California this fall.
Wyatt has volunteered locally with the Special Olympics and has helped fundraise for the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
