The 5-foot-9, 125-pound senior took second in the AIA Division I state meet this past season with a time of 15:30.1, leading the Lions to fifth place as a team. A two-time First Team All-State selection, Dilworth broke the tape at the ASICS/Sundevil Invitational in California with a 3-mile personal-best time of 15:07.00. He also clocked a 5K PR of 14:54.5 at the Desert Twilight, crossing the line sixth as the state’s top performer. He won five of eight starts last fall.
Dilworth has maintained a 4.00 GPA in the classroom. He remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
Through his Eagle Scout project, Dilworth has volunteered locally by organizing the Homeless Engagement Lift Partnership (HELP), overseeing more than 50 volunteers who source, create and distribute more than 1,000 snack/assistance bags for the homeless. He has also donated his time to the annual Peoria Pride Festival.
