The 5-foot-10, 150-pound senior midfielder led the Mustangs (18-2) to the Class 8A state semifinals this past season. Boner scored seven goals and added 20 assists, averaging 1.4 points per game. A United Soccer Coaches All-American, he was also named North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year and Charlotte Observer All-Observer Player of the Year.
Boner has maintained a 4.23 weighted GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer at Wofford University this fall.
Boner has volunteered locally on behalf of a Habitat for Humanity donation drive and has performed various duties to help teachers get ready for the first day of school each year. He has also donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his church youth group.
