The 5-foot-10, 150-pound senior midfielder and forward scored 11 goals and passed for 15 assists this past season, leading the Rebels (14-3) to the Division I state championship game. The Burlington Free-Press Player of the Year, Ali is a two-time Vermont Coaches Association First Team All-State selection. He was also a 2023 United Soccer Coaches High School All-American honoree.
Ali has maintained an unweighted 4.02 GPA in the classroom. He will attend the University of Vermont this fall.
Ali earned first place for Biomedical Sciences at the Vermont STEM Fair as a junior. A leader of his school’s Community Service Club, he has volunteered locally as a Red Cross Donor Ambassador and as a youth soccer coach.
