The 2018-19 Gatorade State Player of the Year, the 5-foot-9 senior right-handed pitcher had led the Spartans to a 11-1 record and a berth in the Division II state quarterfinals at the time of her selection. Venturini compiled an 11-0 mark in the circle with a 0.10 earned run average through 12 games. She had allowed just seven hits to go with 173 strikeouts in 71 innings pitched. At the plate, the two-time First Team All-State selection posted a .486 batting average entering the quarters with three home runs, 14 runs scored, 14 runs batted in and a .800 slugging percentage. She began the 2021 postseason with 742 strikeouts in her prep softball career.
Venturini has maintained a weighted 4.13 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball on scholarship at Hofstra University (N.Y.) this fall.
Venturini has volunteered locally with the Scituate Senior Center, preparing and delivering meals to seniors during the pandemic. Also a peer tutor, she has donated her time as a youth softball coach as well.
