The 5-foot-7 sophomore midfielder led the Timberwolves to a 17-3-1 record and the Class 5A state championship this past season. Briley scored 19 goals and passed for 11 assists, including one tally in the team's 2-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas in the state title game. Briley has maintained a weighted 4.10 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Kansas beginning in the fall of 2019.
Briley has volunteered locally as a youth soccer coach, and she has also donated her time creating and organizing a fundraising campaign to purchase mosquito nets for families in Africa. "Gracely controls the flow of play over the entire field," said K. Dean Snell, head coach of Blue Valley High. "Her presence on both sides of the ball is a key factor to their success."
