Athletic Excellence

At the time of her selection, the 6-foot-2 senior wing had led the Eagles to a 22-4 record and a berth in the Class 6, District 7 Tournament semifinals. Slaughter averaged 27.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 1.3 assists per game through 26 games. A two-time Class 6 First Team All-State selection, she won a gold medal with the Team USA Under-16 National Team at the FIBA Americas championships in 2021. She entered the district semifinals with 2,521 points in her prep basketball career.

Academic Achievement

Slaughter has maintained a weighted 4.42 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball on scholarship at the University of Missouri this fall.

Exemplary Character

A member of her local chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Slaughter has volunteered locally as a youth basketball coach.
