The 5-foot-7 senior won the 400-meter dash in a state-record time of 55.42 seconds and captured the 200 in 25.52 at the state Meet of Champions this past season. Devanny also won both events at the Division 1 state meet and took second in the 400 at the New England Championships.
Devanny has maintained an A average in the classroom. She will attend Wesleyan University this fall, where she will compete in track and field.
A member of the Key Club at her school, Devanny has volunteered locally on behalf of an elementary school mentoring program.
