“Gibby is the most complete player we played against. Gibby can score it at all three levels against any defense, but what makes him special is that he always seems to make the winning play. It’s what makes him so hard to defend. The numbers don’t lie. He’s a complete player.”

Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound senior guard averaged 23.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists this past season, leading the Bolts (15-12) to the Class 4A semifinals. The younger brother of Gatorade State Boys Basketball Player of the Year Deegan Williams (2021-22), he was also named this season’s 4A Player of the Year. He concluded his prep career as the program’s leader in single-season scoring (627) as well as career points (1,555), overtaking his brother in both categories.

Williams has maintained a weighted 3.51 GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
