The 5-foot-11, 160-pound senior forward led the Cougars to a 25-0 record and the Class 5A state championship this past season. Flickinger scored 67 goals and passed for 25 assists, setting a new state record for single-season goals. Despite playing only two high school seasons, he also graduates as the state career goals record-holder with 127 and as Nevada’s career points leader with 315. The returning state Gatorade Player of the Year, he’s also the Nevada South 5A Player of the Year.
Flickinger has maintained a weighted 4.95 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play soccer on scholarship at Fordham University this fall.
Flickinger has volunteered locally by tutoring peers in math in addition to serving as a youth soccer instructor. He has also participated in multiple community service initiatives in association with the National Honor Society.
