The 5-foot-10, 165-pound junior forward led the Cougars to a 28-0 record and the Class 5A state championship this past season. Flickinger scored 60 goals and passed for 29 assists, both of which were state records. He also netted the game-winning goal as Coronado beat Bishop Gorman High, 3-0, in the state title game. The Nevada High School Coaches Association’s Player of the Year, he is a 2024 United Soccer Coaches All-American selection.
Flickinger has maintained a 4.95 weighted GPA in the classroom. He will begin his senior year of high school this fall.
Flickinger has volunteered locally by tutoring peers in math in addition to serving as a youth soccer instructor. He has also participated in multiple community service initiatives in association with the National Honor Society.
