The 6-foot-1, 160-pound senior set a state record en route to winning the national championship in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles this past season at Nike Outdoor Nationals. Gose’s winning time of 51.48 seconds ranked No. 4 nationally among prep competitors in 2023. Gose also set a state record at Nike Nationals Outdoor in the 110-meter high hurdles, placing sixth in 14.16 seconds to earn All-America honors. He broke the tape in both the 100 and 300 hurdles at the Class 3A state meet, helping the Tigers finish fourth as a team, while his 300 hurdles time of 36.10 at states set another state record and ranked No. 4 nationally this spring.
Gose has maintained a weighted 4.19 GPA in the classroom. He remains undecided upon a collegiate destination.
Gose has volunteered locally on behalf of the Lander Interact Club, a youth group that serves community meals and organizes community clean-up campaigns. He has also donated his time by helping to clear the trails at Sinks Canyon State Park in addition to participating in the Rotary Youth Leadership Camp.
