“Finn anchored a Scarborough defense that was one of the best I’ve seen in my time coaching. What makes him unique is that he impacts the game at both ends of the field. Even as a center-back, he was one of their leading goal scorers.”

Head Coach - Marshwood High

Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound senior defender led the Red Storm to an 18-0 record and the Class A state championship this past season. Coburn scored 12 goals and passed for five assists, including the opening tally in Scarborough’s 2-1 win over Brunswick High in the state final. He also anchored a defense that allowed just 12 goals and posted 10 shutouts. The Class A and Portland Press-Herald Player of the Year, he was a 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches High School All-American.

Academic Achievement

Coburn has maintained an A average in the classroom. He will attend Bates College and play soccer there this fall.

Exemplary Character

Coburn has volunteered locally with Maine Needs by collecting and coordinating donations to help the underserved in addition to donating his time as a youth baseball coach. He has also participated in multiple community service initiatives in association with the Scarborough High Key Club.
