The 5-foot-3 junior forward led the Eagles to a 19-2-5 record and the Southern Section Open tournament championship this past season. Nguyen scored 29 goals and passed for eight assists, scoring twice in the Eagles’ 3-0 win over Mater Dei High in the sectional final. Ranked as the nation’s No. 14 recruit in her class by PrepSoccer.com, she was the Orange County Register and Open Division Player of the Year.
Nguyen has maintained a weighted 3.84 GPA in the classroom. She has made a verbal commitment to play soccer on scholarship at Texas A&M University beginning in the fall of 2027.
Nguyen is member of her school’s BuddiesBeyondBoundaries Club, part of a youth-led nonprofit and advocacy initiative dedicated to creating inclusive communities, friendships and opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome and other neurodivergent brain function. She has also volunteered locally at a food bank and as a youth soccer coach. In addition, she’s donated her time to multiple community service initiatives through her church.
