The 6-foot-6, 210-pound senior guard had led the Golden Tornado to a 20-5 record and the second round of the Class 6A state tournament at the time of his selection. Morton averaged 23.4 points, 13.0 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 2.2 steals through 25 games. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Player of the Year, he is a two-time First Team All-State selection and won a gold medal with the 2019 USA Basketball Men’s 3x3 World Cup Team.
Morton has maintained a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball on scholarship at Purdue University this fall.
Morton has volunteered locally on behalf of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
