The 5-foot-9, 125-pound senior raced to the Class 3A individual state championship this past season with a time of 15:26.35, leading the Knights to second place as a team. Geiger also won at the flrunners.com Invitational, the FSU Pre-State Invitational, the North Port Invitational, the District 3 championships, the Hillsborough County championships and the George Whitmire Classic in 2019.
Geiger has maintained a 3.85 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete in cross country and track and field on scholarship at the University of Florida this fall.
Geiger has volunteered locally on behalf of the American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, the YMCA and Metropolitan Ministries.
