The 5-foot-7 senior forward led the Falcons to an 18-3-1 record and the Conference 3A state championship this past season. Yost scored 54 goals, including both tallies in Fountain Hills' 2-0 win over Trivium Prep in the state final. She recorded 17 multi-goal games and added 20 assists. Yost is a three-time First Team All-State selection and the 2017 AZ Central Small School Player of the Year. She concluded her prep soccer career with 104 goals and 34 assists.
Yost has maintained a weighted 4.10 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer on scholarship at the University of Oklahoma beginning this fall.
A member of her local Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter, Yost has volunteered locally with her school's Falcon Leadership Program and as part of multiple community service initiatives through Fountain Hills' National Honor Society. "Erika is dangerously fast and can finish," said Mike Philipp, head coach of Scottsdale Christian High. "Trying to contain her for a full 80 minutes is very difficult."
