The 5-foot-6 senior broke the tape in the 1600- and 3200-meter runs at the Class 5A state meet this past season, leading the Panthers to an 11th-place finish as a team. Stutzman also took second in the 800. Her winning time of 4:39.94 in the 1600 ranked No. 3 nationally among girls prep competitors in 2023. The 2023 Jefferson County District Female Athlete of the Year, she also clocked the nation’s No. 4 mark in the 2-mile run (9:55.75) this spring at the Brooks PR Invitational and the No. 5 national mark in the 3200 (9:56.34) at the Arcadia Invitational.
Stutzman has maintained a 4.11 weighted GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete on scholarship at Northern Arizona University this fall.
Stutzman has volunteered locally as a tutor for students with special needs and she has donated her time as a youth running coach.
