“Elsa is the type of player every coach dreams of having on their team. She’s a true all-around player who excels both defensively and offensively. Her speed and technical ability make her a constant threat who’s able to create scoring opportunities and finish with precision. At the same time, her defensive awareness and work rate set her apart, as she’s always willing to put in the effort to win the ball back.”

Athletic Excellence

The 5-foot-4  junior midfielder and forward led the Redhawks to a 15-1-1 record and the Division I state championship this past season. Klein scored 16 goals and passed for nine assists, netting a goal during Champlain Valley’s 5-2 win over Colchester in the state final. A Free Press Girls Soccer Player of the Year, she was Vermont’s lone 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-American selection.

Academic Achievement

Klein has maintained a 4.13 GPA in the classroom. She will begin her senior year of high school next fall.

Exemplary Character

Klein is a member of her school’s student council as well as its Bring Change to Mind club. She’s also donated her time as a student-leader of the Senior Community Service club. She traveled to Colombia last June on a service-mission trip with her church community.
