The 6-foot-3 senior middle hitter recorded 310 kills and 108 blocks this past season, leading the Hawks (26-2) to the Division II regional championship match. Brandewie also compiled 69 digs and 23 service aces on the year, posting a .611 kill percentage and a .536 hitting percentage on the attack. A First Team All-American selection by both MaxPreps and PrepVolleyball.com, she concluded her prep volleyball career with 924 kills and 280 blocks.
Brandewie has maintained a 3.68 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball on scholarship at the Ohio State University this fall.
Brandewie has volunteered locally with Morgan’s Message, a club that discusses mental health issues for athletes. She has also donated her time as a youth basketball coach.
