The 5-foot-7 senior forward and defender scored 18 goals and passed for four assists in just 12 games this past season, leading the Wildcats (15-2-1) to the Central Section Open Division Tournament quarterfinals. Evans was the Bay League Forward of the Year and the 2022 San Mateo Journal Player of the Year. Ranked as the nation’s No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2022 by TopDrawerSoccer.com, she is a member of the U.S. Soccer Under-20 Women’s National Team player pool.
Evans has maintained a weighted 3.95 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer on scholarship at Stanford University this fall.
Evans was the Woodside Student Body president for the 2021-22 school year. Also the president of her school’s Black Student Union, she has volunteered locally with LifeMoves, a program that coordinates holiday meal baskets for unhoused families. She has also donated her time as a youth soccer coach and as part of multiple community service initiatives through her church youth group.
