At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound senior defensive back and wide receiver had led the T-Birds (13-0) to a berth in the Class 3A state championship game. Durr totaled 32 tackles and three interceptions, returning one for a touchdown, while anchoring a defense that had allowed just 9.2 points per game entering the state final. Durr had also returned a fumble for a score and blocked three kicks. Offensively, the 2024 First Team All-State selection caught 22 passes for 460 yards and eight touchdowns while returning three punts for TDs through 13 games.
Durr has maintained a B average in the classroom. At the time of his selection, he had made a verbal commitment to receive athletic aid to play football at the University of Washington next fall.
Durr has volunteered locally with the Rescue Mission of Tacoma and as a youth football coach and trainer.
