The state’s returning Gatorade Girls Track and Field Player of the Year, the 6-foot senior thrower won the discus event at the Blazer Nestle Invitational this past season with a mark of 175 feet, which ranked tied for No. 3 nationally among prep competitors in 2024. Douglas won the shot put at the Badger Senior Relays in 48-03, which ranked No. 14 nationally among prep girls this spring. Both marks are state records. She also won Class 5A state titles in both events.
Douglas has maintained a 3.12 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete on scholarship at the University of Tennessee this fall.
Douglas has volunteered locally at My Little Angels Learning Academy, a daycare facility providing child supervision. She has also served as a babysitter for friends and family.
