At the time of his selection, the 6-foot-1, 230-pound senior first baseman and outfielder had led the Lancers to a 19-6 record and a berth in the Division 2, Sectional 3B tournament semifinals. Santarelli posted a .591 batting average through 25 games with seven home runs, 56 runs scored and 39 stolen bases. Entering the sectional semis, he’d banged out 20 extra-base hits, drawn 29 walks and driven in 30 runs, compiling a .717 on-base percentage and a slugging percentage of 1.182. He was named the 2025 Wisconsin Player of the Year by Prep Baseball.
Santarelli has maintained a 3.84 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play baseball on scholarship at Louisiana State University this fall.
Santarelli has volunteered locally with Feed My Starving Children and as a youth baseball coach. He’s also donated his time to multiple community service initiatives through his school.
