The state’s returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 5-foot-9, 150-pound senior guard averaged 34.7 points and 8.1 assists per game this past season, leading the Rams (23-2) to the Class 4A state championship game. Neal also contributed 6.1 steals and 4.4 rebounds per game while connecting on 56.7 percent of his 3-point attempts (80-of-141). He concluded his prep basketball career with 2,739 points.
Neal has maintained a weighted 3.83 GPA in the classroom. He has signed a written letter of athletic aid to play basketball at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro this fall.
Neal has volunteered locally at the Reidsville Family YMCA and with the Reidsville Recreation Department.
