At the time of his selection, the 6-foot, 215-pound junior right-handed pitcher and outfielder had led the Braves (20-4) to the No. 2 seed in the Division IV state tournament. Daniel batted .432 through 24 games with 20 RBI, four home runs and 33 runs scored. The two-time Cincinnati Hills League Player of the Year was also 2-0 on the mound, posting a 0.70 ERA and averaging 1.9 Ks per inning entering the postseason.
Daniel has maintained a 3.84 weighted GPA in the classroom. He has made a verbal commitment to play baseball on scholarship at Mississippi State University beginning in the fall of 2027.
Daniel has participated in multiple Indian Hill High student groups, including the Partners Club, which brings together students who have special needs with those who don’t to forge new relationships and friendships. He has also donated his time to the Student Leadership Team and as a Student Ambassador.
