Athletic Excellence

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound senior quarterback passed for 2,863 yards and 31 touchdowns this past season, leading the Chargers to a 10-1 record and the South Jersey Group 3 semifinals. The state’s returning Gatorade Football Player of the Year, Leary completed 152 of 246 passes and was intercepted just seven times. He also rushed for 344 yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries. The NJ.com Player of the Year as a junior, he concluded his prep career with state records for both passing yards (9,672) and touchdowns (105).

Academic Achievement

Leary has maintained a 3.05 GPA in the classroom. He has verbally committed to play football on scholarship at North Carolina State University in the fall of 2018.
